Not quite gold...
I was a little disappointed with these because I thought they would be more metallic. In fairness, they look pretty close to this picture but I think the word "gold" is a little deceptive. When I think of gold I think of the metal and there is nothing metallic about this color. They still look really good on the large wreath we hang on the outside of our house and the quality of the lights is excellent.
