Holiday Lightscape Photo Contest Rules
1. Eligibility
All U.S. Citizens are eligible to participate in the HolidayLEDs Lighting Contest, which is sponsored by HolidayLEDs.com (or HLEDs), headquartered in Brooklyn, Michigan.
HolidayLEDs.com employees and their immediate family members are ineligible to participate.
Also, only one (1) resident per household may enter.
2. Agreement to Rules
By entering this contest, participants agree to apply HLEDs’ office rules and decisions. Participants also agree that by entering the contest, they are releasing their photos to be used for social media and marketing purposes by HLEDs in perpetuity.
HolidayLEDs.com reserves the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify any entries at our discretion. All decisions are final and binding.
By participating in the HolidayLEDs Lighting Contest, participants grant HolidayLEDs.com the right to use their submitted photographs, name, and likeness for promotional and marketing purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of photos in social media posts, newsletters, advertisements, and any other materials related to HLEDs’ business.
Participants understand that their submitted photos may be publicly displayed and utilized in various media formats, including online platforms and printed materials. This permission is granted without any compensation or remuneration, and participants acknowledge that HLEDs may use their entries in perpetuity.
3. Entry Period
The entry period is November 18, 2024 at midnight CST to January 3, 2025 at 11:59 pm CST. HolidayLEDs will only accept entries during the entry period.ept entries during the entry period.
4. How to Enter
Entries can be submitted in two (2) ways:

Uploading the qualifying photo via the entry page www.holidayleds.com/2024-photo-contest during the entry period.

Posting the qualifying photo on a participant's public Instagram OR Facebook account, using the specific hashtag #HLEDsContest2024 and tagging the designated HLEDs official Facebook and/or Instagram account.

If your entry photo is not submitted by the aforementioned methods, it will not qualify for the contest.
All participants must be following the HolidayLEDs Facebook or Instagram account upon date of entry.
Also, photos must be clear images of holiday lightscapes and decor on buildings, structures, or foliage on the participants' residential, commercial, or rental property. Participants are not allowed to submit photos of properties that they do not own or rent.
Qualifying photos must not contain people, pets, cars, or other objects that obstruct the holiday lighting design. For those submitting photos of their personal property, they may blur the house or street signs.
5. Prizes
The winner(s) will receive the following prize(s):
- 1st place - $100 credit with no minimum purchase
- 2nd place - $50 credit with no minimum purchase
- 3rd place $25 credit with no minimum purchase
6. Odds
The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received.
7. Selection and Notification of the Winner
The winning prize(s) are not transferable and must be redeemed by December 31, 2025.
Entrants will be notified via email during the week of January 6, 2025. The winning photo will be shared on HLEDs’ social channels during the week of January 25, 2025.
Winners will be chosen from a pool of qualified entries based on overall design quality of the photo, and the creative use of products.
Acceptance of the prizes permits HLEDs to use the Winner's entry, name and/or likeness for advertising, promotion, and trade without further compensation or remuneration unless prohibited by law.
HLEDs isn’t liable for the winner’s failure to receive notification of winning if he or she provided the wrong email address or if their email security settings caused your prize notification to go into the spam or junk folder.
If the winner has not contacted us to arrange shipment of gift by Janaury 17, 2025, HLEDs reserves the right to award the prize(s) to a different winner.
8. Terms & Conditions
AI-generated or photoshopped images are prohibited. As the sponsor, HLEDs reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate in the event that a non-authorized human interference, a bug or virus, fraud, or other causes beyond your contract impact or corrupt the security, fairness, proper conduct, or administration of the contest.
HLEDs reserves the right to disqualify anyone who violates the terms as well as your right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law in cases where a participant has caused deliberate damage or undermined the legal operation of the promotion.
9. Limitation of Liability
The participant’s entry into your contest or giveaway constitutes his or her agreement to release and hold harmless HLEDs and its subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, etc., against all claims of liability, illness, injury, death, loss, etc., that occur directly or indirectly from participation in the contest or use/misuse of the awarded prize.
